St Pius X Catholic school has been fortunate to have recently completed the construction of a new building consisting of four new classrooms. These classrooms have been designed as a flexible learning environment, with large glass doors that can be opened when required to facilitate large stage group learning activities. Our Stage 3 classrooms were also renovated to accommodate large glass doors to create a flexible learning environment. Our new building also incorporates a school Chapel. The Chapel allows a class to enter a sacred space for class liturgies and Masses. Our chapel will also be a space where classes can explore meditation and different types of Prayer
Our school also has larger open spaces that allow for students to enjoy a variety of games such as basketball, soccer and touch football to name just a few. The playground also includes sheltered play equipment that includes slides, balancing and climbing equipment that is enjoyed by all the students. We also have a large Covered Outdoor Learning Area, which is used for our outdoor liturgies, assemblies and playing.
Our students also have access to a well stocked and modern library. Students enjoy weekly library lessons and have access to the library during lunchtime several times a week. Our P and F have generously supplied furniture and books for our libraries. Our school also has a dedicated hall that is used for assemblies and incursions during the year. The hall has a small stage that is also used during assemblies and class performances.
