    Acknowledgement of Country

In the Spirit of Reconciliation, the St. Pius X school community recognizes the ongoing role of the traditional custodians of this land, the Tubba-Gah peoples of the Wiradjuri nation. It is on their ancestral lands that we continue our learning journey together.

We extend that respect to Elders, past, present and emerging. Furthermore, all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within our school community. Acknowledging their presence and spiritual connection to Country.

In the light of faith, we work towards a more accepting and humble school environment for all.

    Principal's Address

    Thank You

As we come to the close of another incredible school year, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has made this year so special.

To our wonderful parents – thank you for your unwavering support, partnership, and encouragement throughout the year. Your involvement in your child's education and your trust in us make all the difference. We are grateful for the time, energy, and care you put into supporting our school community.

To our amazing staff – your hard work, dedication, and commitment to our students have been truly outstanding. Each of you has played a vital role in making this year a success, and your passion for education and the wellbeing of our students shines through every day. We are incredibly fortunate to work alongside such a talented and caring team.

To our students – we are so proud of the way you have embraced and lived out our school values of Kind, Connect, Respect. You have shown compassion, built strong relationships with one another, and respected both yourselves and others in so many wonderful ways. Your efforts and positive attitudes make our school a better place every day.

As we head into the Christmas holidays, I wish all of our families a peaceful and joyful Christmas season, filled with love and laughter. May the New Year bring you health, happiness, and continued success.

I would also like to thank the school community for the memories created in the last 5 years, that I will cherish always. While I am sad to say farewell, I know that this beautiful school will continue to flourish and thrive.

The champions were: Molly Rouse, Spencer Marchant, Phoebe Heckendorf, Kingsley Green, Amahlii Thurston, James Howard, Alexie Etheridge and Digby Elliott.

The Runners-up were: Clara Job, Brock Ellis, Abigail Hannam, Timmy Peek, Alexandra Edwards, Mason Peckham, Jayley Stevenson and James Peek.

Encouragement awards were; Evie Towns, Isaac Gordon, Ellyse Trudgett, Dustyn Ritchie, Almirah Read, Kodi Kinchela, Eleanor O’Brien and Benji Rich.

Thanks to all those students who helped referee, without you this event simply does not happen. Special mention to the few students who paid their money but were away on the day – these students didn’t complain even though they were very disappointed but still donated their money towards the hampers.

    END OF YEAR GRADUATION MASS

Our final mass for the year was a wonderful celebration.  Thank you to all the family and friends who were able to join us in this celebration.  We wish our Year 6 students many blessings for their future journey wherever it may lead.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

Wishing all our beautiful children and their families a happy and holy Christmas.  It is important to remember the reason Christmas is celebrated…the birth of Jesus.  Throughout this season, remember it is a time of hope, love and joy.  It is a time of God showing his great love for us through his gift of the birth of Jesus.
